you can preview ray's entire new album on npr.org today. Not sure how long it'll be up, but i "listened" to it all. I already preordered the vinyl with the 4 prints so no guilt in my heart. Diggin it.

The Brothers, Simone, D&TK should hop on these marketing skills and sell some signed preorders and prints, packages ect. I know i'd buy them and they'd make quite a bit more money i'd imagine. Bring the auctions back at shows ect...

For the best thing coming out of Nashville right now, Caitlin Rose and The best thing coming out of Wales, The Lowland Hundred who I think a lot of people on here would enjoy. Check them out.

Older stuff i'm listening to are Fairport convention (who knows where the time goes has to be a contender for best song ever written and Sandy denny singing, well it just get much better than that)

Bob Dylan - Desire
Nathaniel Rateliff - In Memory Of Loss (some fine songwriting here)
Cat power - Moon Pix
Richard Hawley - Truelove's gutter
Hem - No word from tom
Travel By Sea - New album still unreleased (check out their first one, Days of my escape, it's a hidden gem)

Love that album.

I'm listening to John Mayer bluesbreakers, Allman Brothers at Fillmore East, Feast of Wire by Calexico and Sailin' shoes by Little Feat.

Just got the Thomas A Minor and the Picket Line CD - it's SO good. Kinda short, but really really excellent.

You're lucky you got to see 'em live - I haven't! I don't think they really tour...

The new Cee-Lo song is the best thing I've heard this year.
